Ohio State Football Recruiting: Buckeyes Make Offer to 4-Star Tight End
According to Scout.com, Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes have offered Naples Barron-Collier tight end Mike Heuerman (class of 2013) a football scholarship.
The 6'4", 220-pounder is a top prospect in the state of Florida and was recently in Columbus taking an official visit.
Yahoo! Sports states that the highly-touted TE can run a 4.76 40-yard dash, benches nearly 300 pounds and puts up 385 on squat. He had 22 catches for 344 yards and three touchdowns his junior season.
Heuerman, the younger brother of Buckeyes tight end Jeff Heuerman, also has offers from Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida and Vanderbilt.
Ohio State has already signed one tight end prospect for the class of 2012.
