As the trade deadline draws nearer, the speculation grows. Will Dwight Howard stay in sunny Florida, or will he be dealt to another team? Will the Nets hold out hope for getting his services, or will they give up and trade Deron Williams?

No matter how you look at it, Howard and Williams aren’t doing their respective teams any favors at this point. Williams is a great player on an awful team, and Howard is the face of a franchise who is sure to depart for greener pastures should he hit free agency this summer. Thus, they need to be dealt now so the fans are spared heartbreak.

In perusing through various rosters, I found four men who just have to be traded. Be they dead weight, salary dumps or just not a good fit, their teams would be much better off without them.

So, fasten your seatbelts and put on your debate-helmets. Here are four players who simply must be traded—the sooner, the better.
