Avery Johnson focused on keeping expectations lowered before last night’s game hosting the Milwaukee Bucks. Yes, Brook Lopez would finally make his debut this season but he wouldn’t be responsible for a sudden Nets turnaround. Heck, he might not even play half of the minutes.

“We can’t expect him to come out and score 40 points for us and run every play for him,” Johnson said. “We gotta have the same type of effort we had last night from our team collectively.”
