WWE Elimination Chamber 2012 Results: Live Review and Analysis of PPV

The Elimination Chamber is the final stop on the road to WrestleMania XXVIII. However, the final stop at tonight’s pay-per-view could change up everything that you think you know that will happen at this year’s WrestleMania.

Tonight, both of the WWE’s biggest championships are on the line, as CM Punk’s WWE Championship will be defended against five tough competitors in Chris Jericho, The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. All of those men bring a special skill set into this match; while all of these superstars could walk out of the match with Punk’s WWE Championship.

On the Smackdown side, World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, has been looking strong as he heads into his elimination chamber match. However, he has two huge giants gunning for his title in the Big Show and the Great Khali.

All the while, the two cunning superstars in this match, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett, are dark horses to escape the chamber with Bryan’s championship and head into WrestleMania as champion.

However, the sleeper pick in Smackdown’s chamber match is the newest addition, Santino Marella. Santino got into the match after Randy Orton suffered a concussion on last week’s Monday Night Raw.

Aside from these two championship matches, tonight’s PPV is highlighted by an Ambulance Match between John Cena and Kane. This is Cena’s last match before his epic contest against The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII. The question is, how healthy will Cena be after tonight?

Finally, the Divas Championship is on the line tonight, as champion Beth Phoenix defends her championship against the surging Tamina Snuka. Can Phoenix avoid taking a “Super Fly Splash” that Tamina learned from her father, WWE Hall of Fame member Jimmy “Super Fly” Snuka?

Tonight’s Elimination Chamber PPV will leave a lot of bodies bruised and hurting heading into WrestleMania XXVIII.
