The Elimination Chamber did not make any new champions, as Smackdown's World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, walked into and out of the chamber match still champion.

However, unlike CM Punk earlier, Bryan did not start the match. Instead, Bryan was safely secured in a pod, while the Big Show and Wade Barrett got things started. Show and Barrett put on a slugfest in the beginning, while Cody Rhodes was the first superstar released out of his pod.

Rhodes and Barrett put together a series of moves together as they tried to take Show down by targeting his legs. Up next out of his pod was the underdog—and fan favorite— Santino Marella. Marella entered in like a mad man taking the action to anyone in his way.

Until he ran into the Big Show who chopped him down like a tree.

Up next out of his pod was the Great Khali. Khali came in and quickly cleared the ring, by beating on Rhodes and Barrett. However, shortly there after, Khali was eliminated from the match ending his night quickly.

The highlight from the chamber match was seeing Show climb on top of Bryan's pod and ripping the chains of Bryan's pod out. Show then kicked Bryan's chains out and forced his way to Bryan.

Once the two men were able to get out of the pod, Show harpooned Bryan through the pod glass. Meanwhile, while Bryan and Show were fighting, Rhodes and Barrett were getting ready to ambush Show.

They teamed up on Show again eliminating the big man from the chamber match.

However, Santino pulled off the upset of the night when he not only eliminated Rhodes but then Barrett afterwards.

With the crowd fully behind Marella he looked like he was going to head to WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion.

But, Bryan quickly put that to bed, as he made Marella tap out after kicking out at two after Santino hit Bryan with the Cobra.

Bryan retains and will head onto WrestleMania XXVIII as the World Heavyweight Champion to face Sheamus.
