Minnesota Wild centre Warren Peters has been suspended for one game for his cross-check to the head of St. Louis Blues forward David Backes in their game Saturday night.

Peters had a phone hearing with NHL Senior Vice President of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan on Sunday afternoon.
