Real Madrid: Di Maria Ruled out of Champions League Encounter with CSKA Moscow
Angel Di Maria has been left out of Real Madrid's squad for the tough trip to Moscow.
The Argentine international had just returned to action on Saturday against Racing Santander after being sidelined for six weeks with an injury. Di Maria played only 30 minutes in the last match, but it was more than enough for him to pick up a muscle injury.
Nobody knows how long Di Maria be sidelined this time, but it is expected that he will recover faster than last time.
Real Madrid have announced on their official website that alongside Di Maria, Hamit Altintop and Lassana Diarra have also been ruled out of the CSKA encounter, with all of them suspected of being injured.
The full match squad:
Goalkeepers—Casillas, Adan, Tomas Meijas
Defenders—Arbeloa, Carvalho, Varane, Albiol, Pepe, Coentrao, Ramos, Marcelo
Midfielders—Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Ozil, Sahin, Callejon, Granero, Kaka
Forwards—Cristiano Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema
The Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie will be played on Tuesday.
