Flyers Acquire Pavel Kubina from Lightning
The Philadelphia Flyers, continuing to add defensemen in the absence of captain Chris Pronger, have acquired Pavel Kubina from the Tampa Bay Lightning, pending league approval, according to TSN.ca's Darren Dreger.
The deal, according to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, is for second- and fifth-round draft picks. The Flyers earlier this week acquired Nicklas Grossman from the Dallas Stars for second- and third-round round picks.
