Before I begin this, let me quickly say that I am not a frequent redditor. I happened to stumble upon this thread by chance.

Roughly four hours ago as of the writing of this article, Philadelphia Eagles offensive guard, impending free agent and redditor Evan Mathis posted an AMA on Reddit under the username EvanMathisThrowaway.

Mathis was a journeyman lineman before finding his way to Philadelphia this season and becoming a top guard in the NFL.

In this thread, people can ask Mathis questions and he will respond to them no matter how random they are.

Of course, with the skepticism that this is indeed Evan Mathis, he linked us to this tweet from his twitter page to confirm that this is indeed him.

Recently, he's been fairly responsive to questions, so it's worth a shot to register on Reddit if you have something you really want to ask him. Move quickly though.

As much as I would like to quote his response to the question "What's the biggest dinosaur you think you cold kill with primitive weapons? Traps aren't allowed; it's like a fight in a football stadium. You don't have to name any specific dinosaurs, just give a size," I won't.

If you want to find the answer, go to the AMA, or ask me anything.

Mathis specifically asked that people do not quote him because the media tends to blow things up. Remember, he's just trying to have a good time. Ask him something whether it's football-related or not.

If you're like me, you'll find Mathis to be a pretty cool guy.
