The reality hit Jesse Scroggins like a blitzing linebacker.
The USC quarterback let his grades slip, and he suddenly faced the possibility of being ineligible for the 2012 season. The redshirt sophomore insists he won’t let that happen.
“I will be eligible in the fall,” Scroggins said Thursday. “There’s no question about that. I will be practicing in spring, and I will still be here in the fall.”
