McShay: David Fits at LB

You’ve probably heard the chatter that Lavonte David might be a better fit at safety than linebacker in the NFL because of his size. ESPN analyst Todd McShay said Thursday: “I don’t necessarily buy that.”
“I think that he can be in a smaller scheme, a Tampa 2 type of scheme, and be a good enough fit at the weakside linebacker position,” McShay said. “He’s quick, he’s athletic and very good instincts.”
