What is holding Rob Ryan back from a head coaching job the most: the fact he looks like "the dude" from the Big Lebowski OR his hit or miss defensive schemes?
Well, he has yet to lead a truly dominant defense. At one point last season, it looked like he could emerge as a candidate for a head-coaching position. The Cowboys' defense had showed considerable improvement. But then it collapsed late in the year and Ryan's star faded a bit.
