NBA Rising Stars Challenge 2012: 3 Players Sure to Deliver Epic Showings

The 2012 NBA Rising Stars Challenge gives fans a unique look at the future NBA stars. During this game, there will be many opportunities for these emerging players to make plays.

Here are the three that will have standout performances.

Blake Griffin

This shouldn't come as a surprise to those who watch the NBA regularly. Griffin has been a human highlight show since entering the league. His versatility and dominance inside make him an awesome athlete to watch. Furthermore, he’s on a team with excellent point guards in Jeremy Lin and Ricky Rubio, so he should not have any problems receiving enough looks. Moreover, when it comes time to deliver, you know he’s reliable.

Jeremy Lin

Jeremy has become the biggest headline in sports for his ability to rise from the unknown and deliver top-notch performances. When you watch him play, it’s easy to see he exudes confidence, and each day, he’s growing. This game provides him another opportunity to excel on the big stage. Based on his previous performances, he’s due to have another stellar game. 

Kyrie Irving

Irving has emerged as one of the best NBA rookies. He is hitting his stride, as he has scored at least 16 points in his last three games. In addition, Irving has a great nucleus of players on his team, including John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins and Derrick Williams. With such a great supporting cast, he will have more of an opportunity to shine on this big stage.
