Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have handed a two-month trial to Brazil Under-20 captain Bruno Uvini.
It is thought Spurs have agreed the deal with his club Sao Paulo, although the 20-year-old has yet to arrive in England.
The centre-half led Brazil to victory in the Under-20 World Cup in Colombia last August.
