Jason Demers is improving, but he won’t be in the lineup when the Sharks face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old defenseman skated with the Sharks at the Lightning’s practice facility on Wednesday, but was just taking “moderate” contact, he said.
