If Reggie Bush is not with Kim Kardashian, he needs to do a better job of staying out of the rumor mill. It's not hard to figure out that cameras are always on Kardashian and that every move made by her and those around her brings unneeded attention.
Earlier in the week, TMZ reported that Bush and Kardashian had lunch together.
Multiple sources tell us ... the two were smiling and laughing during the lunch date ... and played it cool when fans approached them for pictures and autographs.
We're told it seemed just like old times ... before Kim went off and married/divorced that other guy whose name we can't remember.
On Thursday, a TMZ camera found Bush, who flatly denied that he was back with Kardashian.
It's not that Bush and Kardashian can't remain friends or hang out, but Bush should do everything in his power to be sure that their friendship is carried off in more private settings. Being out in public where fans can take pictures and ask for autographs is only asking for the rumors to start again.
This isn't the kind of attention Bush needs. He just experienced the greatest rushing season of his career. The fact that Bush enjoyed that season when he was finally completely healthy and away from the constant glare that comes with dating a Kardashian is not completely coincidental.
Should Reggie Bush stay completely out of the Kardashian spotlight?
Being away from that glare really does help keep the focus on the field. Being involved with a Kardashian isn't like dating any other celebrity—the cameras are all around, all the time, and it's impossible to focus on the field when that happens.
Bush can have as much or as little of the spotlight as he possibly wants. As he knows from dating Kardashian in the past, being around her in public is going to bring a lot of focus. Unless Bush is the type of person that enjoys having every move he makes scrutinized, he would be best to avoid such situations.
Indeed, he is best off maintaining a friendship with Kardashian in private, or with big groups of people. Being out alone (on Valentine's Day weekend, no less) is only going to get things going. This isn't the kind of attention Bush needs. He needs to know better.
