Reports indicate that Lightning defenseman Pavel Kubina is being held off the ice this morning due to organizational interests.

Kubina has been asked to waive his no trade clause, which apparently he has agreed to.

The reports have been confirmed and retweeted by TSN Senior Analyst Bob McKenzie and beat writers in Tampa Bay.

Kubina will bring Stanley Cup experience to the contender he lands on but has struggled this year however, putting up only 11 points in 53 games played.

The Lightning were speculated to be sellers at the deadline but apparently are starting a mini retool of the organization a bit quicker than expected.
