Mum was the word from coach Pete DeBoer on reports that Minnesota Wild defenseman Marek Zidlicky waived his no-trade clause early this morning to pave the way from a trade to the Devils but DeBoer hinted that the club would be buyers as the trading deadline approaches.
The Devils, battling injuries at the position, are in the market for a defenseman and it appears to be a matter of who they'll add, not if they'll add someone.
