He blogged about his entire recruiting process, including visits, before he decided on the Hawkeyes in December.
His entry after visiting Iowa City was honest. He wasn’t overwhelmed by the campus, but liked that it was compact and was a little more “city” than he thought it’d be. Iowa didn’t rank the best of his five final schools academically in head-to-head comparisons, but he liked the academic center.
