New FIFA World Rankings Released

The United States moved up two spots on Wednesday in the newest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.

The US Men's National Team now finds themselves in 31st position, their highest ranking since September of last year.

Mexico remains the No. 1 ranked team in the CONCACAF region—staying at No. 21 worldwide.

Big movers were El Salvador (up 10 spots to No. 54) and Honduras (dropped eight spots to No. 59).  Jamaica is now ranked at No. 50 in the world.

The Top 20 looks like this:

4.   Uruguay
5.   England
6.   Portugal
7.   Brazil
8.   Italy
9.   Croatia
10. Denmark
11. Argentina
12. Chile
13. Russia
14. Greece
15. Ivory Coast
16. Switzerland

18. Sweden
19. Bosnia-Herzegovina
20. Ireland

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings list will be released on March 7th.
