In spite of the explosive, dynamic highlights talents put on display on the court, it's the coaches' mannerisms and short tempers that get fans of the game going as well.
L.A. Lakers head coach Mike Brown is known for coaching two of the greatest players in NBA history, and even still, he is one of the more short-tempered head coaches in the league.
Following are Mike Brown and the five shortest-tempered coaches in the NBA.

Tom Thibodeau is keen on maintaining discipline on his young, talented Chicago Bulls team, especially on the defensive end of the floor.
In keeping the discipline at its height, Thibodeau is constantly yelling at his players to stay in position and play solid defense. He is a short-tempered coach to say the least, yet in a more unique fashion than most.
Thibodeau seems to constantly be correcting his team despite the officiating, which makes him one of the more interesting head coaches to watch.

The "Linsanity" of Jeremy Lin has kept Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni cool, calm and collected as of late.
To his credit, D'Antoni has coached some of the more underachieving teams in the league in the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks.
Regardless, there is no question he is as short-tempered as they come.
D'Antoni seems to go against nearly every other call and has had clear problems organizing the Knicks in such a way that they are able to win consistently—only adding to his frustration.
Doc Rivers, Boston Celtics

Head coach Doc Rivers is known as a "player's coach" in the league, so much so that he lets the refs hear every last bit of his disagreement with a call.
The Celtics' players know if they are given the raw end of a call, Rivers will step right in there and make his presence felt—even if it means a technical or two.
One of the more passionate, intense and raspy-voiced coaches in the league, Rivers is easily one of the more short-tempered as well.

Mike Brown is known for coaching two of the most talented, glorified players in NBA history in LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.
Yet even still, it seems Brown tends to lose his cool more than most head coaches in the league.
In one of the team's most recent outings on the road against the Boston Celtics, Brown even let his anger out on Pau Gasol, who happened to have one of the more solid games of any Lakers player in the contest.
Stan Van Gundy, Orlando Magic

Oh, Stan.
There is no coach more extreme with his emotions than Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy.
Last season, Van Gundy was fined $35,000 for defending his own player. Dwight Howard had been hacked constantly, and Van Gundy thought it was best for the world to hear about how much it frustrated him.
When Van Gundy is trotting about the bench, there is no question fans are in for an entertaining spectacle.
