Mark Sanchez is a rarity these days. He's one of the few people with multiple love interests on Valentine's Day.

Some people have that one special someone and some people, sadly, have no one at all.

But the quarterback of the New York Jets has got himself two.

At season's end, many believed the relationship between Sanchez and Santonio Holmes to be irreparable, but the Jets chose to keep Holmes rather than swallow the $7.5 million they were already into him for. That number doubled when they kept him, so now its a heavy investment at $15 million.

Sanchez chose to ask Holmes if he'd be his Valentine yesterday with this tweet:

Santonio offered no response, but there is no denying that the Jets need these two to get on the same page rather quickly.

Sanchez's other interest, Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton, did have some form of a response. The two haven't been legitimately confirmed as a couple, but even Kate (via TMZ) couldn't deny their ties. When asked if the Sanchize was her mystery man she replied, "I don't know! It's whatever you think!"

What we think is that where there is smoke, there is fire.

While getting on the same page with Holmes is the most important thing for the Jets, legitimately entering a relationship with Kate Upton is something Sanchez needs to do as well.

The 25-year-old quarterback has, at times, been described as immature. He entered the league after only 16 games as a starter at USC and was considered vastly inexperienced.

While his dating and public life have not been considered much of distraction, having some form of grounding could only be good for him.

Kate Upton might be a high-profile supermodel and their relationship would certainly attract attention, but any sign of maturation from Mark Sanchez is a good thing.
