Maxi López Could Help Milan Get over Their Ibradipendenza
There are probably worse places to be trapped than Milan’s NH Hotel Touring. The venue boasts modern rooms, its own restaurant, a business centre and a bar, as well as offering a generous buffet breakfast to its guests. It is rated as the 67th best hotel in the city by guest reviews on the travel website Tripadvisor. Eighty-five per cent of those past customers would recommend it to a friend.
Perhaps, if you scour through the reviews, you might even find a post from Maxi López. The Argentinian knows the inside of those walls better than most, having been confined to the hotel for more than a week at the end of January as he waited to discover whether he was in fact wanted by AC Milan. In need of a striker, but with Carlos Tevez as their clear preference, the club had agreed a deal with López but left it unsigned in the hope of landing his compatriot instead.
