AC Milan vs. Arsenal: Live Score, Analysis and Recap
Paul Gilham/Getty Images
Kevin-Prince Boateng isn't afraid of some good, old-fashioned trash-talking.
And the way he tells it, AC Milan have nothing to fear when they host Arsenal in Wednesday's Champions League last 16 first leg encounter at the San Siro.
Maybe Boateng is right, but history would suggest otherwise. Four years ago, Arsenal eliminated AC Milan from the Champions League with a 2-0 victory at the San Siro.
Both teams have changed since then. So what will Wednesday's match hold?
We'll be here to bring it all to you, moment by moment. The match is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. Eastern, and live commentary will begin around 2:30.
See you then.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (ACM)—79' (pen)
Full-time: 4-0
A terrible night finally ends for Arsenal. There's really not much to say. The Gunners were awful in every aspect of the game.
What now, Arsene?
93rd minute
Pato shoots at Szczesny, who saves easily.
There's the final whistle. Finally.
90th minute: 4-0
Into stoppage time…
88th minute: 4-0
Is this match still going?
84th minute: Arsenal chance
Robin van Persie nods down a cross from the Ox. Abbiati saves.
Good chance. Way too late.
83rd minute: 4-0
Rosicky bloops a shot nowhere near the goal. Wow.
81st minute: 4-0
Robin van Persie tumbles in the box under the challenge of Mexes. No foul.
More on the goal
Chezz guessed the right way. He got a hand on Ibrahimovic's penalty, but it wasn't enough.
Djourou was booked for the foul, which was generous. That was a proper tackle in American football.
Arsenal. Geez.
79th minute: Goal
Ibrahimovic makes it 4-0 from the spot.
78th minute: Penalty
Ibrahimovic wins a penalty. The foul is on Djourou. What was he doing?
76th minute: 3-0
Van Persie shoots straight at Abbiati. Still 3-0.
71st minute: 3-0
Henry curls in a cross. It's headed away easily by Milan.
Even when Arsenal have lots of possession, they don't seem interested in pressing the issue with Milan's defense.
What exactly are they waiting for?
70th minute: 3-0
Milan make a change. Boateng leaves the match. Massimo Ambrosini enters.
Boateng played very well in the opening stages. His goal was well-taken, but I still think the Chezz could have done better with it.
66th minute: 3-0
Hey, hey! RvP hits a low volley to the far post. Abbiati saves well.
That was actually a moment of genuine excitement!
Meanwhile, the Ox replaces Gibbs. Finally. Wrong player heading off though.
65th minute: 3-0
Arsenal sleepwalk through their corner set-piece. RvP whips in a cross for Ramsey, who sends a looping header at least 10 feet over the bar.
The Gunners have checked out for the night.
63rd minute: 3-0
… but Vermaelen takes it instead. His effort is deflected and collected easily by Abbiati.
63rd minute: 3-0
Arsenal win a free kick about 30 yards out. RvP lines up…
61st minute: 3-0
Robinho dribbles circles around Kieran Gibbs. His shot is blocked.
59th minute: Oooh
Antonini fires wide to finish off a deadly AC Milan counter attack. Arsenal were caught out.
We'll probably see a lot more of that as the game wears on.
This is a nightmare for Arsenal.
55th minute: 3-0
An Arsenal possession breaks down.
It almost looks like they have to convince themselves they want to go forward.
52nd minute: 3-0
So what now for Arsenal?
So true, so true
The match commentator says more with seven words than I could say with 10 times as many:
"This is not a great Milan side."
Indeed, it's not.
More on the goal
Vermaelen falls, allowing Robinho a free shot. He obliges with a dart to the side netting.
Arsenal need a miracle. And they need a defense.
49th minute: GOAL! MILAN! 3-0!
Well, that's got to be about that.
Robinho makes it three.
Bad news
Look at this tweet from Opta:
7 - Arsenal's Champions League record when trailing by 2+ goals at half-time: W0 D0 L7. Bleak.
