Louisville, Ky.— They dressed side-by-side in the visitor’s locker room Wednesday night at the KFC Yum! Center. Dion Waiters and C.J. Fair iced tender knees, while Fab Melo, a Chicago Bulls baseball cap covering his head, answered reporters’ questions.
The three Orange sophomores came to Syracuse with varying degrees of fanfare last season. Pundits trumpeted Melo as a one-and-done pro simply slumming in Syracuse until he could officially play for pay.
