CBS Sports' Brett McMurphy is reporting that Syracuse and Pittsburgh are not trying to leave the Big East and move to the Atlantic Coast Conference this fall, but are likely to try and negotiate to make the move in 2013.
West Virginia, the other Big East school set to leave the conference, reached a deal with the Big East to leave as of June 30. The Mountaineers are moving into the Big 12 Conference.
