Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand said during his visit to the Super Bowl that the most important thing he looks for in contract negotiations is “the will of both parties” to get a deal done.
“And generally speaking, if we want to get a deal done, the player wants to get a deal done with us, it usually gets done,” Lewand said.
