The death of his father kept Corey Brewer away for three games. His return was a welcome sight for the Nuggets on Saturday night as the 6-foot-9 forward brought much-needed energy to the skidding team.
Brewer scored 19 points and proved a catalyst along with Ty Lawson as the Nuggets ended their five-game losing streak with a 113-109 victory over the Pacers.
