Kobe Bryant Hits Game-Winner over Toronto Raptors: Reminiscent of 2 Years Ago?
That's right, Kobe Bryant's done it again. He has hit yet another game-winner to add to his career portfolio.
How many has he hit now? You know, all these game-winners would make for one sick montage after Kobe retires.
His most recent dagger sunk the Toronto Raptors...again.
In the video above, the Lakers are down by one with 7.0 seconds left. Kobe gets the ball on the wing off the inbound, and immediately cuts towards the corner. With James Johnson trying as hard as can to challenge the shot, Kobe knocks down the jumper while drifting out of bounds.
Sure, Kobe hits game-winners all the time. This is nothing special. Same old, same old, right?
Two seasons ago, the Lakers were in a very similar predicament to the one in the video above. The Lakers and the Raptors were tied at 107. With 9.5 seconds left, Pau Gasol gets the ball and quickly feeds it to Kobe.
Guess what Kobe does?
That's right. He immediately cuts towards the corner, and with Antoine Wright trying as hard as he can to challenge the shot, Kobe knocks down the jumper while drifting out of bounds.
Sound familiar? You have to figure that it does to the Toronto Raptors.
