Bayer Leverkusen 1-3 Barcelona
It's a bad result for the German side who will now have to beat Barcelona by 3 clear goals to stand a chance of progressing when they visit the Nou Camp in a few weeks time.
That's a tall order for any team and Barcelona will know they have one foot in the quarterfinals now.
It was a deserved result for the Spanish side who faced a Leverkusen team that didn't show any attacking intent until the second half.
Barcelona dominated possession as expected and look set to progress comfortably.
Thank you all for logging in and we'll see you soon.

That was Sanchez' last act as he makes way for Cuenca.
Leverkusen are beginning to look a little stretched defensively now as tired legs begin to set in.

Ouch. Busquets takes a tumble on the track around the outside of the pitch and the referee gives Castro a yellow card for the challenge.
Castro did nothing wrong and Leverkusen will probably appeal that.

Messi playes Pedro in on the angle but his touch was terrible and it runs straight through to Leno.
Lionel Messi skins two defenders and chips Leno only to see his shot hit the post then the side netting.
Amazing trickery from the little Argentinean. Almost deserved a goal for that effort

Messi plays a neat one-two on the edge of the box and his shot is deflected over for a corner.
It was Gonzalo Castro with the earlier strike that hit the post.
Bayer Leverkusen really look up for this tie now. They have discovered some belief in themselves.
Now it's Barcelona struggling to get it clear.
Leverkusen's striker sprints through onto a deflected pass and hammers the ball across Valdes.
The Barcelona keeper gets the slightest of fingertips to it and touches it onto the post. Great save and Leverkusen were unlucky not to be level.
Leverkusen look a lot better in this second half despite them still not getting much possession. They look much more assured when receiving the ball.

54 minutes and Barcelona take the lead from an incisive Fabregas throughball. Sanchez rounds the keeper and slides home is second of the evening.
