AUBURN HILLS, Mich. _ New Jersey Nets coach Avery Johnson stood on the sideline for several moments without taking more than a few steps. He crossed his arms. His expression was terse. He chewed his gum, silently.
It was before halftime, and Johnson already looked as if he was coaching the longest game of the season. The way the Nets played _ insert any synonym for embarrassing here _ it sure felt like the longest Nets game of the season...
