OXFORD — A week ago today, first-year Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze was hurriedly trying to put together his first recruiting class. It was an arduous task, and one not without its hits and misses.
But during a 20-minute conversation with The Clarion-Ledger on Monday, the first extended one-on-one conversation with the newspaper since Freeze was hired on Dec. 5, the coach could focus on some of the other tasks he must accomplish in the coming days, weeks and months.
