Gators' Demps to Skip NFL Draft and Make a Run for Olympics Instead

GAINESVILLE — The only knock on Jeff Demps during his four seasons as one of the greatest running backs in Florida history was that he was too thin. At 5-foot-9, 190 pounds, he was one of the smallest backs in the SEC last year.

But now that he is running for the Gators track team, he is too big.

"I'm kind of a fat kid over here," said Demps.
