Jeremy Lin: Knicks Phenom's Merchandise Is Appearing Everywhere

With "Linsanity" at its height right now after Jeremy Lin has scored 20+ points in each of the three games he has had significant time, Lin gear is everywhere.

Prior to today, fans could not buy any official Lin gear, but that has quickly changed.

Not only can fans purchase an official Lin jersey or jersey t-shirt, they can also get the exclusive Adidas "Linsanity" shirt.

That's not all, folks!

You can also score a Jeremy Lin Fathead.

Yes, you read that right.

Fathead has immortalized Jeremy Lin with a life-size sticker for you to put on your wall.

Now, I'm all for Lin.

He's an aggressive player, he hustles, he moves the ball well. He does everything you want a point guard to do, and behind him, the Knicks have won three games in a row without their two major stars, Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.

However, I think this Linsanity shirt is taking it a little too far.

He has only played legitimate time in the past three games, and the Knicks are just playing the hot hand here. They know Knicks fans need something to cheer for right now, and they figured they should cash in on it.

If Lin isn't getting some sort of kickback for this, then he needs to get his agent on the line with James Dolan and the NBA Players Association.

I'm all for the jerseys, the player shirts and the Fatheads, but this "Linsanity" shirt just seems a little premature.

The true test of whether or not Lin will survive with the Knicks will come some time within the next two weeks when both Amar'e and Melo are back on the court, and scoring the majority of the points for the Knicks.

Will Lin be able to distribute the ball to them enough? Will he be able to execute the pick and roll with Amar'e? Will he be able to score with Melo on the court?

To each of those questions, I really hope so. Now, I don't expect him to get 25 points a game still, but I think he can easily get 10-15 points per game and close to 10 assists.

But, for the time being, let the Linsanity continue.
