With  Euro 2012 competition starting this summer, the U.S. soccer fan is left with something to desire.  Until Thursday.

Major League Soccer announced Thursday via their website that the Brazilian national team will play a friendly match against the United States on Wednesday, May 30th at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

The game will be carried nationwide on ESPN2, as well as Univision with the Spanish broadcast. Television coverage from both networks will begin at 8:00 pm ET.

This will be a huge test for Jurgen Klinsmann’s squad, who is 4-4-1 under the German coach, but they have won their last three contests.  They will want to be in top form in time for World Cup 2014 qualification, which begins June 8th.

Tickets for the match against Brazil will go on sale Friday, February 17th at 10:00 am ET.  You can purchase those tickets at USSoccer.com, or through TicketMaster.
