Report: WR Tres Barksdale Will Walk on at Michigan State in 2012

Michigan State has added another player to its just-signed 2012 recruiting class: wide receiver Tres Barksdale of Solon, Ohio. He will be a preferred walk-on at MSU, according to ohiohssports.com.
Barksdale had been committed to Georgetown, which doesn't award scholarships for football. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder is unrated by rivals.com and reported no other Division I scholarship offers.
