The NBA season is just over a month old, and the playoff tree is already starting to take shape.  Some teams have continued to build on last year’s successes, while others have greatly improved.

Take the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have continually improved the past couple of seasons and currently own the best record in the NBA. 

In the Eastern Conference, looking past Chicago and Miami, the Philadelphia 76ers have surprised everyone with tremendous team play and currently own the Atlantic Division by a wide margin.

In the strangest turn of events, the Los Angeles Clippers have gone from lovable losers to playoff contenders, as Chris Paul has them sitting in first place.

That being said, I’ve decided to play the NBA Finals guessing game.  Here are the odds of the NBA’s six first-place teams making it that far.
