Kenrick Ellis will have to wait a little bit longer to resolve his legal matters.
The Jets’ third-round pick was scheduled to go on trial in Virginia on a felony assault charge on Tuesday, but the trial has been moved back. A jury trial is now scheduled for May 22-23, according to court records (pretrial on May 17).
