The NBA has decided to pay homage to the ABA, as nine teams will sport throwbacks starting the month of February.
The Heat started things off as they rocked Floridian uniforms earlier.
Then, the Clippers and Grizzlies dressed up as the Memphis Tams and the Los Angeles Stars.
The Pacers, Timberwolves, and Nets also sported classic uniforms this month.
San Antonio is next in line and will wear throwbacks in three games in upcoming days. The team will ditch the black and silver as they pay a tribute to the Dallas Chaparrals.
The Dallas Chaparrals were a charter member of the ABA, who later joined the NBA, and became the Spurs.
Richard Jefferson was quoted saying that he had no idea who the Chaparrals were, but is still happy to honor them.
The Spurs will dress in the white, red, and blue during three games this season: February 11 at New Jersey, February 18 at LA Clippers and March 31 against the Pacers.
