With another NFL season in the books, hope has officially been restored in the hearts of fans of all 32 teams. 

The socialistic, parity-driven league also suggests inevitable falls from grace for franchises who have seen a recent surge in success.

The NFL has made a name for itself by creating a level playoff field that is conducive to sending new teams to the playoffs every year. The Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals are three of the six teams who made the playoffs this past season after missing the postseason the year before.

Which one of these resurgent franchises will continue its newfound success, and who will find tough sledding up against a tougher schedule befitting of a playoff contender?
