While we have many recruits who will take their time, assemble as many offers as possible then begin narrowing down their lists, some recruits don't see it that way. Some recruits don't see the meaning in waiting so long.

These recruits just know where they're going and make an early commitment.

That's who we're focusing on for this list: the top 10 early commitments for 2013.

10. Jake Raulerson, OL

Raulerson is a 6'5", 250-pound OL that can also play DE. But many feel his top spot is on offense, thanks to his light feet, Texan motor and great ability to mirror pass-rushers. He has a high ceiling and should tack on some girth to make him a great OT.

Commitment: Texas

9. Caleb Brantley, DT

Brantley has the makings of a prime-time DT prospect. He's 6'3", 295 pounds and is a force in the middle. He can one-gap well thanks to his great quickness, but Brantley can also stop and stack with strength.

Commitment: Florida

8. Altee Tenpenny, RB

Tenpenny missed most of his junior season but he's a 6'0", 205-pound RB with a good amount of potential. He's a vocal leader, runs hard and tough, and has excellent run strength.

I really like his speed and ability to break tackles.

Commitment: Alabama

7. Brice Ramsey, QB

Ramsey is a 6'3", 190-pound QB with great arm strength, accuracy and throws a nice ball. He can hit targets on the move and push the ball deep with ease.

Commitment: Georgia

6. Kenny Bigelow, DT

At 6'3" and 280 pounds, Bigelow is one of the top DTs in America. He can fly off at the snap, work into an OL's body and use quickness to get out and around them for a stop.

Bigelow is a menace in the middle and can push the pocket as an interior pass-rusher.

Commitment: USC

5. Derrick Henry, RB

Henry is a fantastic athlete and could also be a linebacker in college, but I like him at RB. He stands 6'3", over 230 pounds and has 4.5 speed. Henry's a wrecking ball with the football and has good speed to work off some long runs.

Commitment: Georgia

4. Shane Morris, QB

Morris is a 6'3", 190-pounder that some call "Sugar" Shane. He's got a cannon for a left arm and his accuracy is improving. Morris has good quickness in his drops, sets up well and fires away with ease.

Commitment: Michigan

3. Jalin Marshall, RB/ATH

Marshall is a very good athlete and plays QB right now. He could stick as a signal-caller or become a RB, or even a WR. He's 6'1", 190-pound and has excellent speed, agility, play instincts and is dangerous with the ball.

Commitment: Ohio State

2. Derrick Griffin, WR

Griffin is a 6'6", 215-pound WR from Texas with great size, a long frame and good strength to beat press off the line. He has solid speed when he builds up and flashes "pluckability" from all angles. Griffin has a chance to be a superstar in college.

Commitment: Texas A&M

1. Reuben Foster, LB

Foster is the top commitment for me right now. He's a 6'1", 240-pounder that is as instinctive, physical, athletic and smart as they come. He can play the MIKE and line everyone up or anywhere else you need him.

Commitment: Alabama
