Jerry Sandusky: Prosecutors Reportedly Seek Changes to Bail Agreement

Jerry Sandusky continues to toe the line of what is acceptable behavior, even while he awaits trial on 52 criminal counts of sexual abuse on boys.
An Associated Press report states Pennsylvania state prosecutors are seeking changes in the conditions surrounding Jerry Sandusky's bail. This comes after police received complaints that Sandusky has been watching children in a nearby school from his own porch.
Just when you thought things couldn't get any darker in this story, news comes to remind us that yes, Jerry Sandusky lives by an elementary school.
Sara Ganim of The Patriot-News reports the elementary school that Sandusky lives right next to has been working closely with State College police for security.
Ganim writes:
In a response to Jerry Sandusky's request to visit with his grandchildren and travel outside his home while on house arrest and awaiting trial on child sex abuse charges, prosecutors have said that there have been several complaints made against the former Penn State assistant football coach by his neighbors who have seen him sitting on his back porch, which borders an elementary school.
For now, Sandusky is able to be in an attached garage or porch, but not his yard.
The problem is that Sandusky can't stay away from the very issues that demand he be homebound until his trial. Whether due to ignorance, ego or stupidity, Sandusky continues to find new and inventive ways to bring vitriol and scrutiny his way.
Let's pretend, for a second, that Sandusky is fine abiding by the constraints of his bail, remains behind closed doors and only comes out for fresh air.
He does not have to come out when children are present. We all know that this is not the brightest human being ever crafted, but even he has to know that his presence would creep people into calling the authorities.
Should Jerry Sandusky be allowed brief moments outside, even during school hours?
The best thing for Sandusky to have done after the myriad of allegations leaked was to hide away in some cave.
Instead, he gave a bizarre interview to Bob Costas that served to further incriminate him with the public, and now he is getting charged by news agencies for sitting on the porch watching kids.
Don't think it is stupidity that causes such things. Oh, that plays a part, but this is all ego. Sandusky was untouchable for years, so it makes sense that he would sit on his perch and continue to toe the line of legality.
