Has Lowry Done Enough to Earn All-Star Spot?
The problem with being Rockets point guard Kyle Lowry is that anonymity is difficult to overcome.
Despite being in only his first full season as a starter, Lowry deserved to be mentioned among the Western Conference's top point guards in the first three weeks of the season. Lowry, who played exceptionally last season and established himself as an unquestioned leader once Aaron Brooks was sent to Phoenix at the trading deadline, opened this season with a flourish, averaging 17.8 points, 9.3 assists and 6.9 rebounds through the opening 12 games.
