With the Super Bowl out of the way, the 2011-2012 NFL season is finally in the books. That leads us to start talking about what’s next—the 2012 NFL draft.
Teams are already looking forward to a wild draft filled with quality players. However, certain teams aren’t happy about where they’re picking in the first round.
All of the following teams will be looking to make a move up in the draft in order to get the player that makes the most sense for their squad.
Philadelphia Eagles
Which Team Must Trade Up?
One of the most popular teams popping up in trade talks has been the Miami Dolphins at No. 8 or 9 (final order for ties will be determined at scouting combine). As good as No. 15 is, the Eagles could move up and grab the stellar offensive lineman they need while drafting a linebacker prospect in the second round.
It’s hard to tell if Andy Reid will make a move after his last first-round trade netted him oft-injured defensive end Brandon Graham, but the team’s needs and the pressure to win now will force the coach’s hand.

That’s why Shanahan will convince the team to move up to the No. 2 spot that belongs to the St. Louis Rams. With the Rams seeing the hype that Heisman winner Robert Griffin III has caused, they will move out of the No. 2 spot in order to get a bigger return for the future.
Shanahan is convinced that he is God’s gift to coaching quarterbacks, and a guy like Griffin is the kind of project he would try to take on. With a big move up, the duo of Shanahan and Griffin would live and die together in Washington.

While there has been talk of the Bengals packaging the picks together and moving up into the top five, they would be better off packaging one of the first-round picks with a later round pick and moving up into the top 15.
The Bengals have questions at running back, offensive line and in the secondary. The only reason to trade up would be for a star the caliber of Trent Richardson or it won’t be worth the strain put on other positions.
