Shabazz Muhammad walked into the Meruelo Athletic Center on Saturday night and made it his stage. After all, he was the main event. And he acted like it.

"I was really comfortable," said Muhammad.

The consensus number one player in the nation showed why he was considered the number one player in the nation --despite certain media outlets decision to drop him to the number two spot --as he led Bishop Gorman to a 69-50 win over Whitney Young (12-8).

He was dominant from the beginning.
