Liverpool FC and Tottenham were locked in a stalemate Monday afternoon. The draw was stopped for one glorious moment when the cutest damn thing ever occurred. 

Forget streakers and drunken fans, we had a kitty take to the pitch, and it was almost too much for this big ol' softy to handle. 

Ian Darke and Steve McManaman had the call in what was an unexpected flood of adorable that rolled up and stopped the match in its tracks. 

I have never really heard Ian Darke gush. Okay, that's incorrect. I have never really heard Darke gush over a feline on the field. 

You half expected Darke to break out onto the pitch and steal the kitty away from the pitch officials that took the cat off the field. 

There was plenty to like about this Monday match in the Premier League already. Liverpool is craving points, and Spurs still have a hold on a top-three spot in the table. 

The match started off with a bang, as both teams pushed the ball up, but there wasn't anything you would call memorable. That's when the cat seen halfway around the world strolled in like he owned the damn place. 

The kitty had swagger, and Darke just couldn't contain himself. This has provided me with confidence that we can aptly name the feline party crasher. I think Fluffy McCuddlemuffins may be the perfect moniker, but then again, I am always keen on Theo Meowington III.
