We are a little late on this story because of we didn’t want to interrupt the “Post-Gator Bowl Glow” that is permeating around fans and community of Nebraska Cornhuskers Football fans.

But with Nebraska’s recent success, the anger from The Callahan Error of Nebraska Cornhuskers Football is fading.

In fact, you have to give Callahan some credit for the 2008 Nebraska Cornhuskers offense, with full acknowledgment that Callahan would have had this team at 5-7 and saying “Cossy, you’re doing a heck-of-a-job.”

But what it is most surprising is the Jets interviewed Bill Callahan after firing Eric Mangini

Can we call this the worst start to any coaching search?

This is more surprising, given that the Jets even recognized Bill Callahan’s anti-Midas touch and gave him media training before the season.

Anyway, we wish nothing but the best for Billy C.

From what we heard, he got great reviews coaching the O-Line.

Just FYI. You have no reference to "modern era" or "*". At least in this editing.

Oh, if you re-edit it, be sure to check your tags. Sometimes the software changes them for no reason if the story gets edited.
