No matter what Eli Manning has done in his career, he's always been overshadowed by Tom Brady.

That's why his wife, Abby, is the perfect contrast to Brady's wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Abby, who was shown in the second half of Sunday's Super Bowl between the two elite quarterbacks, works in the fashion industry just like Bundchen, per ABC News.

However, while Bundchen has appeared on runways throughout the world for designers such as Versace, Dior and Missoni, Abby has worked behind the scenes, serving as an account executive with wedding dress and evening wear designer Pamela Roland.

Also, while Brady and Bundchen have settled into a $20 million Los Angeles mansion, Manning and Abby live in much more simple abodes in New Jersey (during the season) and Mississippi (in the offseason).

It's almost too perfect. This fits into all the stereotypes surrounding Manning and Brady.

Brady is a three-time Super Bowl champion with two Super Bowl MVPs to his name and seven Pro Bowl trips. He's been mentioned up there with the likes of the best quarterback who ever lived, Joe Montana.

Manning has always been the little brother of Peyton, another quarterback considered to be among the greatest quarterbacks who ever played the game. Despite beating Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, putting an end to their precious undefeated season, Manning had always been the source of constant badgering from the New York media and the fans. When he said he considered himself in the same class as Brady this offseason, he was openly mocked throughout the nation.

Does Abby exemplify the difference between Manning and Brady?

We only saw Abby for a few seconds on Sunday, courtesy of NBC cameras, but you could already tell she was much more, well, normal than Bundchen. She was that down-to-earth wife who probably makes apple pies for Manning before he comes home.

While both quarterbacks battled in a close game on Sunday, it was important to note that they both got there in their own ways and did so despite being practically polar opposites.
