Super Bowl XLVI prop bet wagering is expected to play a major part in a potentially record-setting day in terms of handle for Las Vegas sports books.
Former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson will get the action started by singing the national anthem, while the coin flip will be watched with earnest before the New England Patriots and New York Giants kick things off inside Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Patriots continue to be favored by 2.5-3.0 points, and the total is 53.5 at a majority of the books in town.
