There may not be a worse to pump yourself up for the Super Bowl than finding a dummy of Eli Manning, putting it on a spit over a burnt out trashy car and then videotaping it for the whole world to see.

It just screams: "Hey world, look at me. I'm trashy."

Honestly, this is just ridiculous and over the top. I've seen plenty of crazy fans do some crazy symbolic things in my lifetime—I myself once lit a Jay Cuter jersey on fire and threw it in a fire pit—but this is just a little bit much.

Where do we draw the line? Is it OK to be trashy when you're celebrating your team in the Super Bowl?

I'm not sure about that.

This has nothing to do with Patriots fans being dirt-bags or Giants fans being stuck-up pricks, because let's be honest, every fanbase has their fair share of dirt-bags and stuck-up pricks.

This has to do with common sense, and I dare say personal pride. You have to be willing to stoop to quite a low level to put Manning on a spit and "roast him" over a burnt-out car.

We've all had our "fan moments," and believe me, I understand how intense the hate for the other team's quarterback can be, but on a scale of stupidity, with the highest level being a 10—this is a 12.

Forget about respecting Eli; how about respecting yourself?

Let's class it up, people.
