Michigan's recruiting season took another blow Friday, when offensive lineman Jordan Diamond signed a National Letter of Intent with the Auburn Tigers, according to scout.com.

Diamond, Scout's No. 8 ranked tackle, picked Auburn over Arkansas, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Alex Lozan, Scout's No. 16 guard, is still deciding between Iowa, Auburn and Michigan. Now that Diamond signed with Auburn, Michigan might have a better shot at landing Kozan.

Even though Michigan also lost Joshua Garnett to Stanford earlier in the process, the Wolverines still have an excellent group of offensive linemen.

Kyle Kalis (No. 6), Erik Magnuson (No. 15), A.J. Williams (No. 27), Ben Braden (No. 40) and Blake Bars (No. 58) will all wear the Maize and Blue this fall. Kalis, a 5-star recruit from Lakewood, Ohio, has a good chance of taking over the right tackle spot from Mark Huyge, who graduated.

Taylor Lewan (LT), Michael Schofield (LG), Jack Miller (C) and Patrick Omameh (RG) should earn the other starting jobs.

The Wolverines were in the battle right to end with Diamond, who picked Auburn over Arkansas, Michigan and Wisconsin. “I like the (Auburn) players and the coaches,” Diamond told scout.com. “Everybody is about family there. They are supplying me with a great opportunity to come in and play early, which is what I’m looking for in a school. The players really accepted me when I came down and the coaches did also."
